singapore series: boon tong kee

I was in Singapore from April 4 to April 8 and I only did three things. Eat, eat and eat. Yup, I'm not ashamed of my appetite! So of course, while you're in Singapore, you better feast on Hainanese chicken since that's their specialty. I had my Hainanese chicken feast in Boon Tong Kee in Balestier road. The restaurant is not in the city itself so, you can't walk from your hotel to the venue. ;)

*I'm not going to put the exact name of the dish since I couldn't understand what the lady was saying because she was speaking so fast and was speaking in Chinese. LOL!

In the Mikaela Dictionary, Boon Tong Kee means...
A place where the perfect Hainanese chicken is served!

See that? That's one proof that the restaurant is really reaaaaally good.

This is steamed fish with some sauce that the girl said but I couldn't understand.
It's perfectly yummy though!

The star of the day.. HAINANESE CHICKEN!!!!
It's juicy, not fatty, and deliriously yummy. Need I say more?!

And this is the personal assistant of the superstar.. Hainanese rice!
I love how flavorful and grainy this dish is.

Perfect lunch, I must say!
